Main Questions

Is is possbile to use the Premium WordPress Theme for a multilanguage website?

Yes. You can do it using a special third-party plugin.
Our themes are fully compatible with the popular WPML plugin.

Do you provide a booking or reservation system in your themes?

A WordPress theme provides all of the front end styling of your WordPress website. A WordPress theme is not a PMS service (property management system), a Booking Engine, a Channel Manager or a Revenue Management System. Our WordPress themes can be integrated with a third-party services or plugins for these purposes.

Can I use a Visual Builder?

Yes. You can install your favourite Visual Builder plugin in you WordPress.

Do you provide a Demo Content with your themes?

We provides a useful import theme demo content. The demo content consists in pages, offers, testimonials, menus and widgets with text and pictures.

Technical Questions

What do I need to use your WordPress themes?

First of all a domain name, a web hosting (recommend Apache or Nginx) with PHP 7.2 version or greater, MySQL database version 5.6 or greater or MariaDB version 10.0 or greater, and the free WordPress software. WordPress can be download from the official website.

Can I use the AstroThemes WordPress themes on WordPress.com?

Yes, if you have a premium WordPress.com Business Plan only. In these way you are able to upload our themes or plugins. However we can suggest to use a hosting provider.

Can AstroThemes install the WordPress software and theme for me?

Theme Questions

How can I install your Hotel WordPress Theme?

If your website is already live, before proceeding with the Theme installation. We suggest to make a backup of your WordPress database and system files.
It is aslo reccomended to deactivate all plugins if you have some already.
Then you can proceed with the theme file installation.

1. Log in to your WordPress Panel (ex: https://www.yourdomain.com/wp-admin) with your administration account;
2. Select the “Themes” section from the “Appearance” menu;
3. Select “Add New”, “Upload Theme” and choose the zipped theme file that you have already downloaded on your device.

Otherwise, you can use your FTP client (ex: FileZilla) to access to your hosting and upload the zipped file theme into the wp-content/themes folder; then you can activate the theme from the Appeareance > Themes section.

What are the recommended Plugins for your Themes?

WordPress does not include some features that you can be interested on for a business website. Our themes suggest you some plugins: consider which ones could be interest for you and install. You can also take a look to our reccomended plugin page for more features and personalization.

How can I setup the main menu?

If you don’t have already created your main website pages, add them from the “Pages” section. Then you can create the main website menu (Appereance > Menus). See also the WordPress Menu User Guide for more details.

What are the main WordPress settings?

From your main WordPress admin menu, choose the “Reading” page from the “Settings” section to be able to configure the reading “blog pages show at most useful” for the pagination: the default value is 10.
From this page you can also choose the main static pages for your website: homepage and posts per page (blog page).

Media Image Sizes: our themes come with a dedicated image cropping feature for custom image sizes used in the theme. If your images seems smaller/bigger or they don’t have a correct alignment, you can use the “Regenerate Thumbnails” plugin to adapt them to the theme pages.
